Albert Phillips Jr. is a writer and educator who tells Baltimore stories with honesty and heart. Our collaboration includes custom book illustrations, cover design, digital content, and educator materials that reflect his voice and commitment to young people. Backyard Basecamp
Backyard Basecamp is a Baltimore nonprofit dedicated to reconnecting Black and brown families with nature through land stewardship, outdoor education, and community programming. Working with them has meant creating visuals that honor culture, healing, and the joy of being outside — from seasonal event campaigns to physical materials used out in the field.

Handyman Luke is a local craftsman known for custom carpentry, home builds, and solutions like the DC Bike Shed. He came to Studio Mell wanting his work to look as solid as it feels. We rebuilt his logo, launched his website, and created materials that help people see the care he puts into every project.
